The historic White River Light Station and Museum is turning 150 years old, and we're celebrating in grand style on Saturday, June 21, 2025. All are welcome for a full day of festivities, including entertainment, a special ceremony and state tribute, food, drinks, a silent auction and raffle, lighthouse tower climbs, and lawn games at the light station.
To ensure easy access to the lighthouse during the event, free air-conditioned bus transportation will be provided from Fruitland Township Hall. Guests are asked to park at Fruitland Township Hall, 4545 Nestrom Rd, Whitehall, MI, where buses will begin departing at 12 p.m. to shuttle visitors to the event.

12 p.m. – Celebration begins
12:30 p.m. – Live entertainment: DJ
2 p.m. – Food is served
2:30-3 p.m. – Ceremony & Michigan State Tribute
3 p.m. – Live entertainment: Shelagh & Robbie
4 p.m. – Silent auction ends
4:30 p.m. – Last bus departs from Fruitland Township Hall
7 p.m. – Event concludes
Cost
The 150th-anniversary event is free to attend and open to the public. Food and drinks and tower climb tickets will be available for purchase at the light station.
VIP Tickets
VIP tickets are available in advance for $50, which include:
- Priority busing to the light station from Fruitland Township Hall, 4545 Nestrom Rd, Whitehall, MI, which is the designated parking area for the event.
- A food ticket
- A drink ticket
- Complimentary access to climb the lighthouse tower
