The Sable Points Lighthouse Keepers Association (SPLKA) warmly invites you to an exclusive, one-night-only event in support of the Lighthouse Preservation Fund.
Join us as we shine a spotlight—literally—on a new chapter at the lighthouse. This special evening marks the historic first activation of the Ludington Breakwater's webcams, timed perfectly with the arrival of the S.S. Badger at the pier head. Watch it all unfold in real-time on big screens in Safe Harbor’s lobby!

At the heart of the night is a symbolic "flip of the switch" moment, when the webcams come to life, thanks to our sponsors and hosts at Safe Harbor Credit Union. It's an evening of community, connection, and commitment to preserving Ludington’s maritime history.
Invitation-Only Event | Limited to 100 Guests
You’re receiving this invitation as a valued member of our community and partner organizations. Attendance is capped at 100 guests, and RSVP is required by May 27, 2025.
All guests are asked to select a 5-minute time slot when filling out their RSVP. If the Badger passes the pier during your slot, you’ll win a free SPLKA Family Membership for 2025 (valued at $100)! Must be present to win.
In addition, we will be auctioning off two stays at Big Sable Point Lighthouse and a stay at the Ludington House.
There’s also an option to attend virtually and bid by proxy for the auction items.
